EEOB - Washington DC
The General Services Administration (GSA) has undertaken a comprehensive roof replacement project on the Dwight D. Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB), which was originally constructed in the late 1800's. The EEOB is located next to the West Wing of the White House at the corner of Pennsylvania Ave and 17th Street, NW in Washington DC.
This 15 million dollar construction project began in 2009 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2011.
The architect's French Second Empire style of architecture with the complex mansard system with flat, vertical and angled surfaces; multiple peaks, valleys, changes in plane and flashing connections, dormers, chimneys, skylights and domes- creates unusual slopes and roof lines that present a challenge for building maintenance. Safety Systems was selected by the construction team to design, supply and install the roof fall protection systems because of its experience in difficult and challenging installations.
Choose Safety Systems for your next unique and challenging project.
